President/Physical Therapist/Performance Coach, Performance in Motion
For the past 3 years, I have enjoyed building a strong working relationship with Justin during my numerous trips to the IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL, while serving as the head Physio/Performance Coach for ATP player and current world No. 12, Kei Nishikori.
I vividly recallhow initially impressed I was with Justin observing his work as the head tennis Performance Coach at the Academy. His clear command of his training sessions, the consistent, positive energy he brought to those around him, and the rapport he was able to build with the wide range of athletes he worked with each day truly stood out to me. I admired his work ethic, his commitment to his athletes, and the infectious passion he used to influence those around him.
Over the past few years, it has been a pleasure to work close with Justin through collaborating, brainstorming, and taking a team approach in providing Kei the performance training support he needed to thrive on the tour. Justin’s willingness to collaborate with our team, learn the approach we were taking with Kei, and adapt to this new challenge allowed for a seamless transition. And Kei reaped the benefits of Justin’s support, coming back from a season ending injury in 2017 (and dropping from world No. 4 to No 39) to having a solid 2018 season and on the path back to the top 10.
Simply put, Justin is the type of Performance Coach I would want as part of my team and to represent my profession at the highest level. From didactic settings with TRX and Me Fit Pro to one-on-one settings with athletes of all ages and abilities the IMG Academy, his natural gifts to clearly communicate and teach truly sets him apart.
